FREE TO PROVIDE OPTIMAL CARE

We have no contracts with health insurers. This gives us the freedom to offer the care that suits the patient without being influenced by health insurances. For example, we are not limited by the rules of health insurers and we can offer more and better care. We book all new patients in for a full hour consultation. During consults all the needed time is taken for you and your child. Follow-up consultations are generally 45 minutes in duration.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR DUTCH HEALTH INSURANCES

There are 2 types of Dutch health insurance policies:
1. Restitutie = a free choice insurance
2. In Natura

The amount of reimbursement of medical costs depends on the policy you have taken with your Dutch health insurance. If you have taken out a restitutie / free choice insurance policy the costs will be fully reimbursed. You then have free choice of where you get your medical care in Holland.

In natura policies are a bit less expensive in terms of monthly premiums but the reimbursements are lower, usually around 75%-80% of the costs.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCES

International insurance usually covers most if not all of the costs. Often 100% of the costs are covered.
We recommend still that you contact your health insurance as they can best inform you about your reimbursement.

REFERRALS FROM HOUSE DOCTORS OR OTHER MEDICAL SPECIALISTS

Dutch health insurance:
If you have Dutch health insurance, a referral from your house doctor is required. This referral is needed to claim for reimbursement from the Dutch health insurance. You can request a referral from your house doctor for a pediatrician. The referral does not need to be specifically addressed to our clinic.

International Health Insurance / Foreign Health Insurance:
Do you have international insurance? Then a referral is not necessary to be eligible for reimbursement.
